At the time I defended these viewpoints against some who dismissed the group as being 'conspiratorial' and 'non-existent'. Despite posting several articles from mainstream sources including the BBC that reported their existence and even interviewed prominent political figures that assured the fact, the information was allowed to fall. I am assuming it was because few like to assume that there are those that operate beneath our political radar, guiding our leaders and making political decisions for us.
Upon informing a dear friend of mine of the existence of these people back in November of 2002, he told me that the information seemed genuine and in concept he believed me, but he "just didn't want to deal with it or hear it."
So, it is in this light that I submit the following article from The American Free Press that documents not only the Bilderberger's existence, but their stated desire to influence the political sphere with the stated culmination of a one-world government.
Viscount Etienne Davignon, 73, is chairman of Bilderberg and a former European commissioner states the following -
"(that at the annual meetings,) automatically around the table you have internationalists, —people who support the work of the World Trade Organization, transatlantic cooperation and European integration."and we have the words of -
"Will Hutton, an economic analyst and former newspaper editor who attended a Bilderberg meeting in 1997, says people take part in these networks in order to influence the way the world works, to create what he calls "the international common sense" about policy,"The Real Effect
So, while hardly approaching exhaustive, we have demonstrable evidence which indicates that there is a secret gathering of leaders that attempt to influence policy and opinion. With many of the attendee admitted globalists and some even more sinister plans, why should we continue to pretend that not only do they not exist, but that they don't have access to the ears of many of the policy makers.
