On 4/11/2006, I made the following prediction -Let's review shall we? On 4/11/2006 the price of a barrel of crude was $68.74 and today crude settled at $71.35 a barrel. That's an increase of $2.61 or 3.8% over the last week."Further, I believe oil and gasoline costs will continue to spike by 5-10% or 30-50% if the Straits are blocked over the next 2-3 months."
On May 27, 2005, it was reported that the Bilderbergers including Henry Kissinger were calling for a doubling in the price of oil over the next year. Oil was $50.83 on the last day of trading before the conference occurred (May 5-8). Today it is $71.35. That is an increase of $20.52 or just over 40% with the major gas hikes still yet to come.
