Kill Panel Is Targeting US Citizens

 

Are you starting to see just how bad it really is yet -

American militants like Anwar al-Awlaki are placed on a kill or capture list by a secretive panel of senior government officials, which then informs the president of its decisions, according to officials.

There is no public record of the operations or decisions of the panel, which is a subset of the White House's National Security Council, several current and former officials said. Neither is there any law establishing its existence or setting out the rules by which it is supposed to operate.

The panel was behind the decision to add Awlaki, a U.S.-born militant preacher with alleged al Qaeda connections, to the target list. He was killed by a CIA drone strike in Yemen late last month.

The role of the president in ordering or ratifying a decision to target a citizen is fuzzy. White House spokesman Tommy Vietor declined to discuss anything about the process.

The Real Effect
Note the bold print -

1. Regardless of how one thinks about the man, Awlaki is ALLEGED to be a terrorist, that is someone, somewhere pointed a finger at him. This matter has not been heard in a court of law.
2. A secret panel declares the guy a menace and then orders him dead. There are no rules checking this process and all decisions are secret.
3. There is no law that authorizes this. These actions are extra-judicial.
4. The President of the United States is probably involved.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the most egregious act that ANY individual or institution can perform ever and I dare say that the evil this sort of precedent can generate is far, far, far more damning to this country then any single or group of terrorists could ever dream of accomplishing.

Let's reduce it even further. We as a nation are upset that our 3,000 citizens were murdered without a trial and yet our brilliant solution is to formally institutionalize the process in secretive kill panels? Doesn't this fly in the face of what we are supposedly outraged about?!?

Evil. Pure and simple.

Rage Grips the Country as the Protests Intensify Into Riot Material

Just who are these people -

The leftist juggernaut MoveOn.org, a Democratic Party front which vehemently backed Obama’s 2008 election campaign, is set to hijack the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protests this week, which is pretty ironic given the fact that the Obama administration is a creature of Wall Street itself.

After largely staying out of the protests thus far, “MoveOn.org is expected to mobilize its extensive online regional networks to drum up support for the effort,” reports Crain’s New York Business.

Just like the "Tea Party" Express is not the Tea Party, the communists that will infiltrate these groups are also not the Tea Party. Funny how one group can comprise of commies, neocons and union thugs without it's permission. Mostly because the real Tea Party is nebulous and has no formal declarations. True, there are groups that are more rigid, but meet a real Tea Party member and you'll generally encounter a genuine libertarian that is pro-gun, pro-liberty and anti-globalist.

TSA Comes to Lambeau

Wisconsinites everywhere should hang their cheeseheads in shame -

Green Bay Packers fans should arrive early and expect some delays for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos as the team implements heightened security measures for the games at Lambeau Field this season.

The National Football League is pushing for enhanced security, and starting with Sunday's game at Lambeau, all fans will be subject to a hand-held, metal-detecting wand test before being admitted.The procedure would be similar to wand inspections at the airport, but this process would be less invasive than the full-body exam, said Doug Collins, Packers director of security.

The Real Effect
What better place to put this kind of security on display then the home of the Super Bowl Champions?
Of course, we all know that this is more posturing to eliminate the common people's rights but let's be perfectly clear about this.

1. As a private organization, they have every right to implement these sort of procedures if they would like.
2. I as a private citizen, have every right to boycott the living daylights out of your organization for doing so.
3. Let's not be naive about this, the DHS put the NFL up to this.

We turn to 2006 for the rationale -

I will go over this real slowly, so all may understand. If you create a terrorist and then your own 'experts' to testify to the nastiness of this terrorist and then the aforementioned terrorist does something scary, you get billions of dollars in funding and tons more control over a populace. I believe that it is the oldest trick in the book.

Watch for the story to die down, yet the call to "vigilance" and "protection" grows while pushing the conclusion of the story aside. And all it takes to solidify it in your mind, is one terrorist attack that they tell you is from the "terrorist" and liberty becomes a forethought reserved for the annals of history.

And when will it go away? When the money runs out -

Searching people at the borders and prosecuting criminals will reduce crime and terrorism. It will actually work. This reduces the need for expensive and invasive systems such as the TSA, Highway Watch and citizen watch programs. This makes less money for the bureaucrats and politicians and erodes their power base. Where would the pay raise in that be? No this is typical problem-reaction-solution fear mongering in an attempt to strip the Republic and it's good people of their rights.

Stick a Fork In Perry, Here Come's the Non-Starter Cain Again

Texas Gov. Rick Perry has tumbled among GOP primary voters and now trails business executive Herman Cain in the race for the nomination, according to the latest IBOPE Zogby Poll. Cain's campaign appears to have picked up steam after a win in Florida's Straw Poll this weekend, while Perry continues to suffer from lackluster performances in GOP debates, the most recent held last Thursday in Orlando. Perry, at 18 percent, has tumbled by more than 20 percentage points over the past month, according to IBOPE Zogby numbers and is now second to Herman Cain, who leads the field with 28 percent.

The Real Effect
I don't know what the GOP thinks is going to happen if Paul gets elected, the man has demonstrated consistently that he supports the values that they claim to uphold. Of course, this sort of election should suffice to show that it is about maintaining power not implementing the platitudes that one offers the masses when running for public office. Fraud anyone?

Naturally, the White Elephants are absolutely paralyzed at the thought of not spending trillions of dollars invading other nations they don't even represent perhaps in part because they know what kind of karmic payback the United States is due. Of course, we remember who is supporting these intellectual and fiscal failures -

• Neocon - Primarily baby boomer and older - This group is obsessed with "preserving" things the way they are. This is evidenced in their continual support for anything that sounds like old fashioned Americana. (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, zoning, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, etc...) They have predicated most of their worldview into a belief that they are the greatest generation. They created American prosperity, American superiority and the American Dream darn it! They have spent a good portion of their lives stealing from others, therefore they rightly fear the wave of reciprocity that is coming.

 These positions are unsustainable. Period. The math demonstrates it and the country is now confirming it and unless we want to sell our souls to the Dark Prince, we need to repent of our mercantile ways and return this country to a sound judicial standing on private property.

Perry Shows His Blue Side

'Won't someone please think of the children!' Bush III cries -

During Thursday night's Republican presidential debate, Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum all took shots at Rick Perry's record on illegal immigration. Bachmann said that Texas's law allowing in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants acted like a "magnet" for illegal immigrants. Perry's response was forceful and personal. "I don't think you have a heart," Perry told his critics.

The Real Effect
Don't you just love how generous he is, with your money? This is the basis for the quintessential argument that needs to happen in this country simply because it underlies every problem that we are dealing with socially. Let us explain the situation with a formula.

Citizens * Cost = Expense

If there are 30,000 citizens being educated at $10 each, that equal $300,000. Do a little spreading of the cost among your 300,000 citizens in your area and we're talking $1 each. Not too shabby. Now let's introduce Perry's formula.

Citizens + Immigrants * Cost = Expense

If there are 30,000 citizens being educated at $10 each PLUS 2,000 illegal immigrants that equal $320,000. Spreading of the cost among your 300,000 citizens in your area and we're now talking $1.07 each. A 7% increase in cost that is being carried predominantly by the citizens. Now add on welfare, food stamps and other factors and that cost quickly goes from 7% to more like 30%.

This is the heart of the matter facing America. True, a healthy system can support some mooching. But a parasite that continues to grow will eventually kill the host. In this country we have spent via credit card at the local, State and Federal level as well as personally and now the bills are due.

Perry needs to recognize that the gravy train for all people in this country needs to stop and this has nothing to do with empathy, but just plain common sense.

A Turning of the Tide

In June of 2009 I posted the following -

The analogy that was being invoked at this point was that of a roller coaster as the economy/statistics, fresh off a major plunge was going back up. Seldom is it the case that any institution or country falls straight into the abyss, rather it is usually the case that man sees fit to desperately try to save his sorry hide from the onslaught that is sure to follow. So it is with the United States.

In 2008., after years of warnings from professors, experts and what was then regarded as complete lunatics, the economy collapsed. (Or more properly, the sham that we thought was our economy collapsed having been long replaced with a mercantile paradise. )

In 2005, nearly SIX years ago and THREE years before the "crisis" -

Now I don't believe that it takes a genius to figure out that the housing market will at least temporarily collapse...
....we will begin to see many people selling off properties in an attempt to capitalize on unrealistically high housing prices. After all, if you can't afford to heat one house, can you afford to heat two?

I strongly believe this will lead to a panicked sell-a-thon which will flood the market with overpriced housing, driving the prices down to at least pre-bubble levels. This will leave many holding large outstanding debts as much of their investment's value plummets.

In July of 2008, I warned that the banks were in massive amounts of trouble, once again jumping ahead of the crisis by an incredible 3 months -

The bleeding is worsening as the globalists loot the American people of everything. Pensions are starting to disappear, savings are gone, debt is piling on and the elite are laughing. After all, you got your "stimulus" check right?

This is going to get much worse everyone with a domino effect knocking off many long-standing institutions as they become "Federal".

Back then, who would have thought the Federal government would have tried to nationalize much of anything let alone some of the biggest entities in the world.

Austerity In the Form of Tax Increases Comes to America

You owe money, don'tcha know? -

In a blunt rejoinder to congressional Republicans, President Barack Obama called for $1.5 trillion in new taxes Monday, part of a total 10-year deficit reduction package totaling more than $3 trillion. He vowed to veto any deficit reduction package that cuts benefits to Medicare recipients but does not raise taxes on the wealthy and big corporations.

"We can't just cut our way out of this hole," the president said.

The president's proposal would predominantly hit upper income taxpayers but would also reduce spending in mandatory benefit programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, by $580 billion. It also counts savings of $1 trillion over 10 years from the withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Real Effect
Think this through for a moment. Who owes this debt? The United States of America, a Federal construct of the individual sovereign states. What or who is the Federal Government? It is an abstract concept that has no individual backing rather then the wealth citizens of the United States. So what is this "debt" secured against? (In other words, who owes the debt again?) Why the material possessions of it's citizens of course, namely you and I. You could have literally been born yesterday, get none of these benefits in the future and yet still owe hundreds of thousands to the Federal Government.

In this case, Obama is invoking class warfare to claim that this situation is unfair. The problem with this thinking is two-fold and quite problematic. 1) Life by it's very nature is unfair and hundreds of years of communistic balancing has done nothing but slaughter people to "fix" this situation. It is a failed ideology that just keeps trying. 2) The Republicans have a real problem on their hands with this. You have people that are being devastatingly being priced out of their basic subsistence via various Federal Reserve programs that steal their wealth and hand it over to certain hedge funds and banks to "prop" them up. This is theft most foul and the people know it. The people don't want to save the banks, they want to see the banksters hang and the Republicans are oblivious to this point. Getting behind the banks is like standing behind the rapist because he'll lose his job. 


So all of this creates this murky perception that 'anyone making over X dollars (Let's say $1 million), are the ones that did this to us!'  While it is true that there are some that are part of that subset that are guilty of these crimes, not all are and to impose such tax increases assumes that the debt is valid and that we have to pay it. This is literally a mathematical impossibility as the amount of outstanding derivatives contracts and "value" inherit in these positions is enough to wipe out the world economy several times over.


The banksters must be wiped out financially. Then and only then will the citizens see their wealth preserved and start to see a turn towards financial prosperity.

Government Inept at Catching "Terrorists"

Dear Fellow Libertarian,

 

Who is she?  She's a suburban housewife from Ohio who was flying to Detroit. 

 

A SWAT team stormed her plane as it sat in a remote part of Detroit airport, where she was removed by them along with two indian nationals she did not know who sat next to her.  She was interrogated, strip-searched, and eventually released without charges because the flight crew thought she demonstrated "suspicious" behavior.  According to the news, during the flight, one of the other two indian men went to the bathroom, took a long time, and the other got up to wait outside.  Shoshana remained seated.  For the aircrew, that was the clincher.

"Who cares?", you may ask.  Better safe than sorry.  This is just another day in the battle against Al-Queda, dontcha know.  Besides, there must be more to it than what we hear in the news.

 

Nonsense. 

 

I don't like encouraging paranoia, and this is paranoia writ with the power of government behind it.  

 

Out system of law grew from the tradition of stopping this kind of mindless, lawless interference in our lives, but now it seems that doesn't matter at all.  

 

Think about what happened to this woman, and the two foreign men next to her. 

 

For no discernable criminal behavior, she ran afoul of the system.  You might say she was considered guilty until proven innocent. 

 

Just to get on the plane, by law, she, and all her fellow passengers, had to get permission from the DHS.   She was searched before boarding the plane.

 

She was not ever informed of what she was being "detained" (arrested) for, and she was not secure in her papers and effects.

 

Her fellow passengers had to watch, and cower, as a SWAT team did the risky business of removing her from the plane at gunpoint. 

 

An airliner with hundreds of people ran a greatly heightened risk of one of our jets accidentally shooting it down.

 

She had her clothing forcibly removed, and yet many of her fellow citizens throughout the USA think it's perfectly alright to be strip searched by a government agent without cause.

 

Her name will forever be in the "terrorism watch list."

 

As terrifying as this experience was for all involved, a lot of these same citizens rationalize the crushing of her individual rights with the thought the government must have secret info the rest of us don't know about.  To them, this is both OK and justifies their actions.  

 

Worse yet, the vast majority of people are completely convinced this will never happen to them, so it the abuse of this one person doesn't matter.

 

And think of the money wasted for the airline delays, the fighter jet, and the SWAT team.

 

Is this the way we want to live?

 

For my part, I'm going to make it a special point to never use Frontier Airlines again, that is, if I ever get back on board an airliner.  

 

I'm also going to remember Ms. Hebshi's name.  It reminds me that this is all real, and not just some paranoid fantasy.

 

And my list of names is getting longer every day.
