Against All Odds...

The man deemed 'unelectable' by the 'experts' among us -
With the New Hampshire primary just one week away, two new polls have found Ron Paul is in a strong second place behind runaway leader Mitt Romney.

Romney is practically a dead cert to take the primary, and has been for some time. Consequently Paul’s campaign and his supporters will undoubtedly be encouraged by such a strong showing with just seven days before voting begins.
The Real Effect
Let us remember in this new year who stood against Ron Paul.
  • The GOP - Influential members of the Republican establishment within the state are offering sweetheart deals to prominent voting blocks in key swing districts in order to “sway” the result and ensure Ron Paul doesn’t win.
  • John Boehner
  • Rick Santorum - "Ron Paul is disgusting,"
  • Newt Gingrich
  • Michelle Bachman
  • Iowa Governor Terry Branstad - Denounced his own state's performance if Paul were to win.
  • Donald Trump
  • Politico Strategist Roger Simon - “If Ron Paul wins Iowa, we just take it out,”
  • Rush Limbaugh - “right now anybody other than Ron Paul could beat Obama if the election were tomorrow — easily.” "That audience goes nuts," Limbaugh said the next day. "I think, 'Oh, my gosh, what am I watching here?' "
  • Glenn Beck
  • Mark Levin - “I will do everything within my power, as limited as it is, to fight them every damn step of the way and if Ron Paul decides that he is going to go third party, which is detrimental to this nation and pulls a million votes, which is relatively insignificant in the big scheme of things, I will do everything within my power to defat his son in Kentucky,”
  • Michael Savage - On December 29, Savage said on his popular radio show that Ron Paul is a racist “lunatic” who supports terrorist groups and hates Israel.
  • Anne Coulter
  • Bill O’Reilly
  • Family Research Council President Tony Perkins
With all of the maneuvering behind the scenes, don't look to this year as beginning of ethics in politics.
