Net problems
I have had issues getting to many of my prime info sites over the last few days, with several of them being blatantly censored for supposed 'hate speech'. Supposedly two major internet companies are warring.

This may account for most of it, but just remember that this medium has a limited shelf life for free speech as many of the powers-that-be discuss internet 2 and handing control over to either the U.N. or some other domineering sub-agency.

Speaking of Internet.... Bill O'Reilly came out bashing bloggers the other night. Here is the exchange:

AUTHOR BERNARD GOLDBERG: There are some conservatives on the list [”100 People Who Are Screwing Up America”], but there are mostly liberals. And when they could write unanimously on the Web, you know, a review or post.

O’REILLY: Blogs. I don’t even read them. I mean, it’s so outrageous.

GOLDBERG: It’s beyond — it’s beyond vile.

O’REILLY: Let’s go to the — look, that’s just a waste of time. You shouldn’t even read it. It’s garbage. Nobody cares about it. Everybody knows the simpletons who are doing it are cowards and they don’t have any influence. [7/18/05]

* FDA may approve cloned meat for consumption

As if we don't have enough issues already playing God, now we have to eat it too? I found this incredibly disturbing,

"...it has recently become clear that a few offspring of cloned pigs and cows are already trickling into the food supply."

Equally disturbing is this -

"Studies have shown that meat and milk from clones can't be distinguished from that of normal animals, although work is not complete and researchers say that clones do suffer subtle genetic abnormalities"

Bad, bad, bad idea. As if the system isn't taint-able enough already, we need to anonymize things even further?

* Spanish Flu recreated -
What is this bad idea day? This story is actually quite old as it was reported quite some time ago that scientists had extracted the virus from a person who had been preserved in ice at a whaling station in the arctic. I believe it is possible that the 'killer bug' that is coming could be a genetically engineered copy of the Spanish Flu that would be blamed on the Avian Flu.

This was going to be part of a larger update that I had written, but forgot to save. But hot on the heels of Avian Flu panic, come Bush calling for the imposition of 'Bird Flu quarantines'.

* Crude oil has dropped below $60 a barrel and natural gas rose 1.6 cents.
I believe that this is to allow many of the globalist to purchase supplies at a lower price. This will last a limited time, but the price will begin to shoot up again after we slap either Iran or Syria.

Flying Pork

The old adage, "I'll (fill in the blank) when pigs fly." has come one step closer to completion today.

Alaska Airlines accepted a $500,000 grant from "a local nonprofit agency, the Alaska Fisheries Marketing Board" to paint a Boeing 737-400 as a giant chinook dubbed the "Salmon-Thirty-Salmon."

The Real Effect
As always, this begs the question, "Where did the money really come from?"

Surprise, surprise, it came from the federal government!

It turns out "The money came out of about $29 million in federal funding U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska and his congressional colleagues have appropriated to the marketing board, created in 2003, to promote and enhance the value of Alaska seafood."

What a waste of taxpayer funds.

Housing Market Cooldown

In what has been seen as the hallmark of the recent economic recovery, the housing market that has exploded over the last three years is showing signs of cooling off.

Today, with regards to the New York housing market, the New York Times had this to say -

"More sellers are putting their homes on the market, houses are selling less quickly and prices are no longer increasing as rapidly as they were in the spring, according to local data and interviews with brokers." and "In Manhattan, the average sales price fell almost 13% in the third quarter."

Back on August 29 I stated that I believed the following would happen:

3. A moderate to severe US economic collapse that would lead to further calls for 'free trade' and globalization. (I.E. - The American Union)

With regards to point #3, I see several things that are extremely troubling -

Now I don't believe that it takes a genius to figure out that the housing market will at least temporarily collapse, but I am going several steps further here. I am on record predicting that this will lead to something, specifically a call to globalize the western hemisphere into a 'competitive market', the new American Union. I have also heard rumors that this will come complete with a brand new currency, the Amero.

The Real Effect
I believe that this will spread in this country gradually at first, but as the pinch of natural gas prices (40% higher in Wisconsin) combined with still increasing gasoline prices begin to strip Americans free cash, we will begin to see many people selling off properties in an attempt to capitalize on unrealistically high housing prices. After all, if you can't afford to heat one house, can you afford to heat two?

I strongly believe this will lead to a panicked sell-a-thon which will flood the market with overpriced housing, driving the prices down to at least pre-bubble levels. This will leave many holding large outstanding debts as much of their investment's value plummets.

Miers for Justice

In what is being hailed by many as a betrayal, President Bush nominated Harriet Meirs to replace the retiring Sandra Day O'Connor. It comes as hardly a surprise to me that Bush nominated someone that seems less than conservative. Seems pretty consistent with his positions thus far.

I remember back in 1999 discussing the then upcoming political election with many of my older and supposedly wiser political friends at the time. The discussion became somewhat heated when I suggested that I was considering voting for a third party candidate.

'Eric, you do not understand the importance of the federal judiciary and voting for a third party is throwing away your vote.'

At the time, I bought the lies and voted, regretfully, for Bush. Fortunately, this incident has taught me to stand up for the values that I believe in and to not capitulate for the sake of a hollow victory.

UPDATE: 12pm -World Net Daily is reporting a few interesting tidbits regarding Miers:

-"As White House counsel, Ms. Miers either approved of the Department of Defense's illegal assignments of women in units required to be all-male, which is still continuing in violation of the law requiring notice to Congress in advance, or she was oblivious to the legal consequences of those assignments,"
-Miers approved the Bush administrations retention of President Clinton's "don't ask, don't tell" regulations, which, she says, are different from the 1993 law passed by Congress.
- She submitted a 1999 report to the ABA's house of delegates that included recommendations to develop and establish an International Criminal Court...

The Real Effect
I smell a big fat trap here. I'm not quite sure what the given plan will be, but I float this by you for your consideration.

Bush is deliberately placing inexperienced justices on the court to plant a plausible reason for people when the justices rule to exterminate even more freedoms than they have already. I believe that it is possible that these 'inexperienced' judges will rule to permit the 'chipping' of society as played out by Senator Joseph Biden during the Roberts nomination hearing. Here is an audio clip of Senator Biden telling Roberts that he will rule on the issue.

Whatever the potential scenario, this is NOT what the conservatives in this country have lobbied for years for. This reveals Bush as a phony and sheds light on what his aim really is. Globalism.

Disasters, Terrorism and Liberties

The following pictures are from the disaster in New Orleans. Notice the skull dominating the SWAT shirt of our supposed protectors.

This combined with the news that Bush would like to federalize disaster response. Notice how the media always interviews the ACLU as the local opposition, thereby polarizing debate into two camps that share a common goal. Either you are with the communistic ACLU or you're for dismantling state control and promoting federalism. Sounds like a losing proposition to me.

If the disaster in New Orleans has taught us anything, it should be that reliance on any governmental agency for your well being, be it local, state or federal, is at best a gamble that you take with your own life.

More importantly we need to note what government's soloutions to a given problem usually is - confiscation of liberty. In the wake of 911; the Patriot Act, Domestic Security Enhancement Act and others empowered the government to remove more liberties.

In addition, a ruling has been handed down by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit with regards to the detention of the U.S. citizen Jose Padilla who was arrested in Chicago.

“Padilla, after all, in addition to supporting hostile forces in Afghanistan and taking up arms against our troops on a battlefield in that country … also came to the United States in order to commit future acts of terrorism against U.S. citizens and targets.”

Without regard to Padilla's innocence/guilt, which interestingly enough cannot be determined because he is being detained as an "enemy combatant", judges can order that people be detained indefinitely on the perception that they might "commit future acts of terrorism."

The Real Effect
Boy, if I didn't know better, I would assume that the American people, not the terrorists and looters are the enemy here. In the years of the "conservative" agenda, we have been given more government, more bureaucracy, and not-surprisingly, less freedom. This merely exposes both sides of the argument as nothing more than globalist controlled instruments of American destruction. But then again, we know better, don't we?

Look for continued 'revelations' of the American al-Quaeda threat as our benevolent leaders begin to realize that perhaps some terrorist poured in through those incredibly porous borders and taken up refuge in the US. But in order to secure the "homeland" we cannot leave Iraq, and Iran, but rather we must ensure "Free Trade" by bringing in foreign mercenaries, err... troops and setting up internal checkpoints.

Hurricane Oddities...

Strange.

That's the word that comes to mind when I mused over the recent rash of devastating hurricanes. Let's start by stating a few things.

1. Hurricane seasons appear to cycle from devastating to annoying over the course of decades.
2. Hurricane Rita appears on a near-perfect devastation course for Houston, TX and it's shipping lanes/refineries.
3. On June 5th of this year, the FX network premiered the faux-documentary Oil Storm. In the made for TV movie, a hypothetical scenario is set up in which a series of events triggered by a hurricane set into motion massive increases in gas costs which result in martial law.
4. We know for a fact that legislation exists that prohibits 'Weather Modification'. Why would such proposals even be drawn up that consider this, unless it was a remote possibility.
5. US Defence Secretary Cohen at one point said -

"Others [terrorists] are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves... So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations...It's real, and that's the reason why we have to intensify our [counterterrorism] efforts."

The Real Effect
Does anyone else find it odd that in the wake of a war that secured much of the Mideast oil in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have not one, but two hurricanes that jeopardize much of our production?

Look for oil to explode well over $3 a gallon and the dreaded word 'shortage' to start to appear. I believe that we will see the economy start to stutter like a dying giant, staggering into a recession, if not a depression.

Rita and Oil

It has been a little while since I posted an oil update, so here is a quick recap on my opinions.

I have been tracking oil increases June with the stated prediction (see bottom of the page) that prices on crude would double over the next year, resulting in a depressed economy. So far we are 1/2 way there.

I believed, but admittedly did not post, that oil would retreat temporarily in order to allow profiteers to buy at a lower cost and then drive up to it's next plateau. We can see that happening here.

Now comes news that Hurricane Rita is menacing the Texas coast and oil refineries are shutting down.

The Real Effect
Do not panic, but fuel up your car now, before the price increases come. I believe that this will further reduce the American refining capacity and continue the coming American recession.

EU and the Coming AU

Back at the end of August in the posting entitled Katrina, Gas and the Economy I introduced to my blog the globalist used term of "harmonization".

The term refers to a process in which different societies begin to adopt the same: laws, ways of solving problems and governments. We all like 'harmony' don't we?

By using this insidious war on words, the globalists are able to demonize those that would resist their efforts based on the meaning of a single word, not their process of governance.

I introduce to you ABC, a long-standing global propagandist, as it offers up the following piece on a proposed EU telephone law.

"The European Commission has adopted proposals to log details of all telephone, Internet, and e-mail traffic, to combat terrorism and serious crime."

Let's stop for a second. Notice that in the first sentence of the article there is two important points.

1. The EU is writing laws for their member states. Given all states must approve, but that can be changed. For all those who support the "free trade" shadow, take note. First you get the trade bloc in place, then you start passing laws to regulate the trade in the name of protecting the public.
2. "to combat terrorism AND serious crime." (Emphasis mine) This statement accomplishes two things - it links terrorism and crime in the public mind and it expands the reach of anti-terror legislation to serious crime.

The piece continues -

" The Commission's text aims to harmonise the current patchwork of data retention practices across the bloc."

Notice how it refers to individual national laws as a "current patchwork....across the bloc."

Now, take this in context with much of what has been done/is being done in the name of free trade and one is left with the stunning realization that the United States is on the same track. Recently, The Age reported on George Bush's proposal to the United Nations for "trade liberalisation and the removal of trade barriers and subsidies on agriculture" Some sources reported this as a total removal of all trade barriers.

The Real Effect
For those of you that still believe that George Bush is a true conservative, follow the overall effect on what is happening to the sovereignty of the American Republic. (Note we are NOT a Democracy) Here are a few of the thousands of disturbing trends that should serve to convince you that our leaders do not have our best interests at heart.

1. The implementation of a track and trace network for control of the "civilian" population.
1. Traffic cameras, electronic tolls, RFID, Verichip, GPS.
2. National ID card
2. Removal of any semblance of personal sovereignty
1. The Supreme Court Kelo case, code enforcement, modern city planning, oppressive property taxes.
2. Enforcement/passage of "hate laws" which criminalize opinions and speech.
3. Failure to enforce one of the few Constitutionally mandated reponsibilities to secure the border.
3. Martial Law
1. Increased military presence and talks of cooperation between law enforcement and the Department of Defense.
2. FEMA
4. Depressed personal economy
1. Inflation
2. Increased 'law enforcement' resulting in increasing oppressive taxes that attack wealth and encourage poverty.

National ID - Redux

Secretary of State James Baker III and former President Jimmy Carter have come out in favor of a National ID card.

The Real Effect
This is a tricky issue. On it's surface, I am in favor of standardized (read 'national') ID's being required in order to vote. I believe this greatly reduces the amount of vote fraud that is being perpetuated in not only our state of Wisconsin, but many others.

However, I do believe that this issue is a bit of a Trojan horse.

If there are not verifiable paper trails on many of the new electronic machines that are going in (a result of the Help America Vote Act of 2002), which there is not, than it does not matter who votes, or in what manner he or she votes as the actual vote can be manipulated on the receiving end. Seeing as how many of the voting machines that are currently in place are not able to be reviewed for security, (http://www.blackboxvoting.org/) then it matters little how we verify the voter, because in the end, we deploy a National ID card.

Rita, now a level 2 hurricane is on the horizon of the Gulf and a possibility to menace the LA area once again. More as it becomes available.

Clinton Positions for U.N. Post

Clinton sounds off by breaking longstanding tradition of ex-President's non-commenting on sitting President's policy thereby effectively positioning himself for the head United Nations position.

According to the report, Clinton stated the Bush administration had decided to invade Iraq

"virtually alone and before UN inspections were completed, with no real urgency, no evidence that there were weapons of mass destruction."

Way to follow the times Clinton. We established this well over a year ago.

Clinton said there had been a "heroic but so far unsuccessful" effort to put together an constitution that would be universally supported in Iraq.

Talk about stating the obvious. But why do you suppose this is? Do you think it has anything to do with the Clinton Global Initiative?

The Real Effect

He seems to be following the standard issue progression:

1. Identify or selectively 'notice' a given problem publicly.
2. Issue statements to the press condemning the problem, invoking the name of The People in order to legitimize your stance.
3. Create a perceived groundswell of opposition to the problem through manipulation of public opinion via the mainstream media.
4. Announce that The People will no longer tolerate such behavior and enact a given "solution".

Expect continued condemnation of supposed 'religious wars' as conditioning to accept a one-world religion and reorganization of the United Nations into a supposedly less corrupt, more efficient (read dictatorship) global body.

Avian Flu, the Next Big Shamdemic?

Avian Flu: Is the Government Ready for an Epidemic?

Piggy-backing off the insanity prevalent in the New Orleans area, ABC news runs the latest panic piece invoking apocalyptic images designed to elicit mass-fear and terror. Recently we have had SARS, West Nile, and a whole host of 'killer diseases' posing the newest threat to the public at large.

The article starts off with -

"It could kill a billion people worldwide, make ghost towns out of parts of major cities, and there is not enough medicine to fight it. It is called the avian flu." (Cue music from the movie Halloween.)

"Gasp....Oh no!" we are supposed to say. "Whatever will we do?" Never mind the fact that it has killed only 57 people so far, Laurie Garrett, a senior fellow on global health policy at the Council on Foreign Relations has something to say. "Right now in human beings, it kills 55 percent of the people it infects, That makes it the most lethal flu we know of that has ever been on planet Earth affecting human beings." I guess we take our public health cues from the CFR now.

Not to be confused with a slow response kind of individual, President Bush "agreed to stockpile $100 million worth of a still-experimental vaccine".

The Real Effect
Let's get real here for a second. (No pun intended)

.000000016% of the human population has had the Avian Flu and of that a little more than 1/2 of those have died. This is hardly an "epidemic" let alone the dreaded "pandemic" that we keep hearing about. I think it is safe to assume/conclude a few things -

1. We know little about how the 'Avian flu' would affect the general population.
2. There are few/no known cases in the U.S. (Assumed)
3. Therefore the response to "stockpile" 1/10 of a BILLION dollars worth of "experimental" vaccines can safely be construed as an over-reaction at best and most likely, panic-pandering.

Schwarz To Run Again, For Which Office?

An Ah-nuld aide today proclaimed that Arnold would be running for election in the great state of Cal-e-fornia. Wonderful...and there was much rejoicing by the peasants.

Fortunately for you, I have been in on much of the inside scoop on Arnold for quite some time. Knowing that he was going to run and win before he announced his bid to the nation's surprise in the now somewhat famous late-night moment, I feel somewhat confident in joining the band wagon that claims that Arnold has his sites set on the U.S. presidency.

The Real EffectI strongly believe the following is not only very possible, but likely to happen -

1. Sagging poll numbers mean little to the elite. This will not effect much of anything and is a virtual moot point.
2. Arnold will run and will win another term in 2006 by a solid margin.
3. Some city, most likely LA, will receive the blunt of a terrorist attack. In the aftermath of the scenario, likely nuclear, Arnold will display Giuliani style resolve and repose which will catapult him to the national scene, setting his stage for a run on the Presidency in 2008, which I believe he can win.
4. Recognizing his new-found popularity, the clarion call to end the 'discriminatory' status of the U.S. constitution which prohibits foreign born persons from running for the office, which will be passed overwhelmingly in a pseudo-patriotic fervor.

Milwaukee Journal Runs Thompson Chip Piece

Just to show the almost incredible lag that many of the mainstream media sources display on important issues on a regular basis, the Milwaukee Journal ran an article discussing ex-governor Tommy Thomspon's appointment to the board of Verichip Corp. and subsequent chipping. Yours truly covered this way back on August 8th, and many "alternative" sites covered it before me.

DeLay declares 'victory' in war on budget fat

The following article blew my mind when I read it. It appears that House Majority Leader Tom DeLay feels that the government has declared "victory" and that there is 'simply no fat left to cut in the federal budget.' I believe this betrays many who in good faith voted for representatives that they honestly believed that they would hold the conservative line. Sucks to be deceived, no?

As I sit here somewhat shell-shocked, I wonder how many conservatives really believe much of the tripe they have been ingesting from these posers formerly known as conservatives. Honestly, did we expect anything else?

A couple of quick updates...

Hot on the heels of the AP report that Mexican troops are aiding in New Orleans, reports are streaming in that armed Mexican troops are in the United States. Specifically, Texas. They are reported to be combat ready, "fully armed with Heckler & Koch German assault rifles." The report continues -

"The eyewitness described at least ten vehicles, four jeeps (other witnesses described them as Humvees) and six combat trucks brimming with armed Mexican troops wearing body armor, helmets and rifles. The troops riding in the jeeps were wearing holstered hand guns. The vehicles were not being escorted by the US army or any other government vehicles and the vehicles were festooned with insignia reading 'Mexico MP's' and the Mexican flag."

For those of you that doubt that globalization is the goal, keep watching the south as the call goes out for global cooperation.

The Real Effect
Watch for continued calls from key legislators to bolster our defenses by adding 'foreign assets'. I will go on record that I think that the following scenario is extremely possible, if not totally likely.

I believe there will be another terrorist attack(nuclear/biological) in the next few months, quite possibly near the anniversary of 911 that sets into motion the following script. In the haze of the next attack, Al-Quaeda accuses us of being 'weak' in the wake of the New Orleans attack and that they will continue to attack us to 'foster further division' among us. In response to this and criticism of FEMA's response to New Orleans, the government decides to "get tough" and foster unity in order to combat the invisible enemy. This will result in more gun confiscation, silencing of free speech and the like. After all, what do we have to hide?

Martial Law in New Orleans

As I stated earlier, I spent some of the day Sunday preoccupied with CNN coverage of hurricane Katrina and their seeming apocalypse-oriented coverage of a storm and their seemingly conjoined relation to FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Come Monday morning, it would have seemed that their rantings were largely unwarranted and New Orleans had "dodged a bullet".

However, time sometimes leads to change and several levees saw fit to collapse which led to the Superdome having more in common with alligators than it previously had.

This situation eventually led to the declaration of martial law in the area to contain the damage. I have reason to believe that this is Federal martial law and not what would be a proper city/state martial law.

This in addition to the revelation that it would seem that the levees might have been allowed to collapse by what would seem to be Federal 'Officials' (one wonders why we tolerate our servants telling us what to do). In addition to this, we see the Pentagon is sending in warships to assist.

Is this just weather or has the federal government seized on this opportunity to do a 'trial run' on the upcoming martial law? It is definitely far to early to say, but it is definitely possible.

The Real Effect
You only have to look at a few pictures to understand that at the bare minimum, this is tragic. But it appears on the surface it is being used to condition the public that martial law is a good thing and can be used to help people. More updates later...

Katrina, Gas and the Economy

While not as catastrophic as CNN would have led you to believe she would be on Sunday afternoon, hurricane Katrina appears to dealt a major wound, if not a fatal blow to the New Orleans and Gulf Coast area. We have oil platforms floating down rivers and hitting bridges, gators in the city and other miscellaneous craziness.

On a side note, why put tens of thousands evacuees in a giant bowl when it's raining? I realize that it's better than outdoors, but something about a bowl leads me to believe that it is designed to contain water, not repel it. Back to the topic.

Reports are streaming in, martial law has been declared in some areas, looting, and just to make matters more interesting, gas prices are surging something fierce on the news that 95% of gulf coast production has been shut down. This has resulted in what some would see as astronomical prices with sightings of $3.60 around parts of Southeastern Wisconsin.

The Real EffectIt is difficult to say with any certainty exactly what is taking place behind the scenes. However, it is obvious that the globalists are wasting little time in allowing much of this catastrophe to achieve a tanking of the American economy. I believe this is the first wave of the depression of 2005. Look for staggering heating costs with natural gas come this winter combined with yet increasing gas costs looking to take on the $4 benchmark. The globalists call this "harmonization" as our prices come in line with the rest of the world.

Cue Greenspan....

I have maintained that the fall of 2005 would see a few things -

1. A major increase in the cost of crude oil, doubling, perhaps even tripling from May/June of 2005 to May/June of 2006.
2. An United States invasion into Iran. (This adds to the oil instability.)
3. A moderate to severe US economic collapse that would lead to further calls for 'free trade' and globalization. (I.E. - The American Union)

With regards to point #3, I see several things that are extremely troubling -

1. The US dollar has fallen by 45% over the last three years. This has in part been accomplished by the Federal Reserve flooding the market with dollars.
2. Many families are increasingly floating large amounts of debt to maintain their current 'lifestyle'.
3. This has led to the purported 'housing bubble' that has been largely responsible for the economic turnaround of the last few years.
4. Oil costs are eating up much of the economy's cash flow.

Hot on the heels of this series of developments comes the economic bogeyman, Alan Greenspan, with a new word in his vocabulary.

Crash.

The Real Effect
What I see is the makings of a possible economic 'perfect storm'. Oil prices are approaching inflation adjusted records achieved in the late 70's/early 80's and indebted Americans with little playroom in their budgets. Add-in a campaign of war in the middle east and a fiscal policy that is somewhat reminiscent of the "New Deal" and one is left feeling slightly chilled.
I believe that Mr. Greenspan's statements will scare the market into further decline over the next few months.

Crude Watch - Significant Jump

John Roberts - Conservative?

The issue of the Supreme Court Judiciary has been a sore subject for me for many years. In 1999 when Bush was running for his first term, this very issue became the main stumping point for many of my Republican friends in their attempts to persuade me that my growing suspicion of the Republican party was unwarranted. Unfortunately, their attempts worked. In the fall of 2000, I logged my vote for the Republican party and banked on the hope that not only would replace a retiring moderate with a strong constitutionalist but that he would in addition, stem the flood of bureaucratic red tape that had blossomed under Bill Clinton.

Sadly, not only has George been liberal in his social policy, I believe he has replaced a moderate with yet another moderate.

True, it would appear that Roberts appears to be a conservative, but then again, so did George. Countless hours have been spent debating a man who appears to have little record of his own, so many have turned to his memos in an attempt to glean what sort of man this is.

Now comes news from the L.A. Times that Roberts supports national ID cards. The Times posts the following -

When faced with what he called "the real threat to our social fabric posed by uncontrolled immigration," Roberts urged his superiors to switch course and support national ID cards."

"I yield to no one in the area of commitment to individual liberty against the spectre of overreaching central authority, but view such concerns as largely symbolic so far as a national ID card is concerned,"

He wrote in a memo to White House Counsel Fred Fielding on Oct. 21, 1983.

"We already have, for all intents and purposes, a national identifier -- the Social Security number. ... And I think we can ill afford to cling to symbolism in the face of the real threat to our social fabric by uncontrolled immigration,"

This revelation would be largely moot if it were not for the fact that the Real ID act had passed recently. Is it possible that Bush is loading the Supreme Court in an attempt to uphold the legality of a nationally mandated ID card?

The Real Effect
Look for Roberts to hold a conservative line for a while, disarming most arguments against his nomination. Then when key arguments come to SCOTUS, I believe he will suddenly become a Sandra Day and hand us over to the globalists.

Checkpoints, Coming to a City Near You?

I have been following specific trends in our society both here and abroad now for well over 10 years. One of those has been the gradual implementation of police/military checkpoints in and on our freeways.

I distinctly remember conversations with friends roughly 6 years ago when permanent gates were installed on both the Hwy 20 and Hwy 11 ramps to I-94 here in Racine. I stated that those gates would eventually be used for checkpoints, yet I was often dismissed as being paranoid. Never mind the fact that federal officials have stated publicly that they would like to see this sort of thing implemented.

As little as 10 years ago, the American spirit was largely resistant to any government controls proposed on our movement especially in our autos. The globalists, undaunted, started a massive PR war against the public to persuade the people to accept a large level of intrusion as being necessary to preserve the integrity of the Democracy.

I believe it began by convincing the populace that driving was a "privilege" not an inherent "right." After all, if you pay for the roads, car, gas, and police, why should you have access to something that you built? This eventually took form through licensing and registration in state DMV's and was used to centralize control of all movement to a state level.

Today, we have been convinced that we should accept tracking chips (pay-tolls), GPS and surveillance cameras on the road to improve managability of a given city or road.

We have seen the "Click it or Ticket" campaign which has resulted in an increased 'awareness' in safety. And checkpoints. All in the name of safety of course.

Then came the Transport Security Agency's federally run intrusions into our personal lives by preparing us to dump our effects and get used to 'ID please' mentality. Ultimately, I and many others knew that this would lead to some type of tracing system to track all movements.

In addition to the new fangled "mileage-tax", I believe this may be one of the possible routes that the ultimate goal may be achieved. From TechNewsWorld we get -

...and.....

"Security access points could justify the expense, but placing them even at key intersections may not be very practical, according to lawyers at Pittiglio, Rabin, Todd & McGrath in Costa Mesa, Calif., a spokeswoman said."

Ahhhh.... Do we see clearly now? "Security access points." Not checkpoints. At least we can rest assured knowing that our 'freedom' is still intact.

The Real EffectAll that is needed is a terrorist attack on the United States that involves a vehicle of some kind to rationalize the need for massive tracking and checkpoints. With Bush's approval ratings sagging and Iran looming on the horizon, will the globalist pull the trigger and implement a police state in order to usher in a "New World Order"?

TSA Stops Babies From Boarding Planes

I'll admit off the bat that I have never been fond of the TSA, it's mission or policies. As a proponent of markets taking care of needs that arise in a given sector, the idea of adding yet another bloated layer of government bureaucracy to the puzzle brings up images of German checkpoints and the phrase "Papers please." I have been on the record, (ask my wife) that since it's inception after 911 that the TSA or a new derivative of it would slowly stretch its tendrils first to the trains, then automobiles, all the while increasing its overall fondness for invasiveness. After all, what do we have to hide?

Throughout its existence, the TSA has time and again shown its inability to think sensibly as countless regulations and rules are foisted upon the American people who solely wish to go about their daily business. I myself was exposed to this on a flight to Kansas as my children watched their father be searched like a potential criminal by removing shoes, a belt and empty all contents of just about ever pocket that I own. Then, they proceeded to search my 2 children and pregnant wife. Lovely.

Now comes the news that the TSA has stopped babies...yes, babies from boarding planes in an attempt to stop the 'terrorists'. The AP writes -

"Infants have been stopped from boarding planes at airports throughout the U.S. because their names are the same as or similar to those of possible terrorists on the government's "no-fly list."

The article goes on to say -

"Critics including the American Civil Liberties Union say the government..."

Ughhh...as if the only people that oppose this is the ACLU. You see, most people wretch at the mere thought of the ACLU, so by equating "Critics" with the ACLU they are effectively calling anyone who opposes this as being in league with the communistic ACLU.

Without becoming overly specific, I wish to levy my criticism at those who blindly support such agencies and policies in a pathetic attempt to make themselves feel safer at the expense of those who are completely innocent.

London Shooting Was a 'Mistake'

On July 22, Jean Charles De Menezes wandered from an apartment and tried to board the tube over in good 'ole England. The result? He was shot repeatedly in the head and is now dead.

In documents obtained by ITV news, much of the 'official' story regarding the slaying of the innocent man is now falling apart. It has been revealed that he was not in fact wearing a "heavy coat" nor was he running from law enforcement but

"even stopp(ed) to pick up a free newspaper."

His mistake? He ran to get ON the train. (has anyone here tried to catch a bus?)

A witness stated -

"I then pushed him back on to the seat where he had been previously sitting." and then Jean was shot in the HEAD SEVEN TIMES!

The Real EffectDo we really want to live in a world where police shoot a suspect in the head when he runs? This man admittedly posed no threat to his fellow passengers and yet he was murdered. Put yourself in his shoes and see if you would like the local sheriff blowing your brains all over the sidewalk because you came out of the same building as a suspected terrorist. This IS the definition of a police state where you are guilty until proven innocent.

Cindy Sheehan and the Right

I have struggled for the last week to understand the significance of this woman's story and its supposed contribution to the national news. Here are the abbreviated facts that I can gather at this point:

1. Cindy's son served in Iraq and was killed. President Bush visited the Sheehans and Cindy was reported/quoted as receiving his visit warmly.
2. Sometime over the last year, Cindy appears to have soured and changed her stated opinion to the nature of the visit with President Bush. This has outraged many conservatives who now view her as some sort of patriot traitor.
3. Sensing the outrage, the 'left' has rushed to Cindy's aid and joined in her protest.

Given, this is a selective redaction of some of the events, but much of the other points do little to explain the overall situation, they merely exasperate one side of the debate or the other. So, the conclusion I am left to draw is that for some reason a grieving mother, that I believe is a tad dramatic and obsessed with the war, is trying to make logical sense of her son's death in light of the given situation in Iraq. And for this she is publicly trashed.


Yet, where is the national news and public outrage on this event?

An admitted Bush follower, furious with the anti-war crowd, attached a chain to the back of his pickup truck and drug it through a bed of crosses and flags that the demonstrators had erected as tribute to the sacrifice our soldiers have made in Iraq, knocking many of them down and running them over. (See right.) From reports gathered, the local law enforcement managed to corner the guy on the road because it had no exit. (A brilliantly executed plan I might add.)

Now perhaps the story will break in the next day or so, but I highly doubt that it will receive the same type of attention that Cindy Sheehan has received. This man has put not only himself, but others in danger in order to exercise his 'free speech'. This doesn't even mention his 'lack of support' for the troops and his utter disdain for our national flag. Yet at this point, Cindy is merely a protester.

If the right wishes to remain credible, then the level of rhetoric that should be leveled at this lunatic should be substantially larger than the accusations made of Cindy. Or is it possible that it's true that the right does care less about principles than agenda?

Gaza Watch

Israel. There are few countries that elicit a more dramatic response than the home of what many see as God's chosen people. It is a land that has seen countless acts of barbarism, violence and bloodshed just in the last 57 years since it's current inception. And few areas in this land bring a higher level of violence than the Gaza strip.

For those of you that are unaware, Israel, led by Ariel Sharon is removing all settlers from the Gaza strip and will hand the property over to the Palestinian Authority and the end of the evacuation. Below is a timetable for this week.

Settlers still in their homes on Aug. 15 will be given 48 hours to leave or face ejection by police and troops. Evacuations of homes will start on Aug. 17.

The Real Effect
Forced relocations, especially ones involving troops rarely go well and have often resulted in massive revolts by the populace against those who would seek to move them. Watch for increased hostility in the region and added tension in Israeli/Palestinian relations.

Check out this atrocious CNN example of public opinion manipulation in the continued gas war. Notice how the piece opens with -

'Think you pay a lot for gas? Perhaps you'd prefer to live in Venezuela.'

The Real Effect
A brilliant example of switching the argument. See how the issue raised is no longer whether gas prices are acceptable but switches the focus to how ungrateful you are for expecting lower prices. In addition, it manages to make the inference that you need to live in a dictatorship(Venezuela) to get the low prices. What a piece of work.

Terror Watch - August 2005

I read an interesting article last night that I thought that would be worth mentioning. It appears that Kevin P. Byrnes, a four star general in charge of Fort Monroe's Training and Doctrine Command was fired on Tuesday for sexual misconduct.

Journalist Leland Lehrman has a different opinion though. Some of his sources, including a former Captain in intelligence, told Lehrman that "the imminent Northcom nuclear terror exercise based in Charleston, S.C, where a nuclear warhead is smuggled off a ship and detonated, was originally intended to 'go live' - as in the drill would be used as the cover for a real false flag staged attack."

"Speculation exists that he had potentially discovered the fact that it was gonna go live and that he was trying to put a stop to it or also speculation indicates that he may be part of a military coup designed to prevent the ridiculous idea of doing a nuclear war with Iran, " said Lehrman.

The Real Effect
Take it for what it's worth, a possible source that might be revealing something that we need to pay attention to. I find it worth noting though, today is 8/11, similar to the 311, 777 and most importantly 911.

Interest Rates, Oil and a Recession

Yesterday, the Federal reserve hiked the interest rate hike by 1/4 point. Today is the news of oil at $65 a barrel. (I know, I know. Oil AGAIN!?) For those of you keep track, that an increase of 17% increase over the June 15th price. Drudge had a splash on stating that gas prices were up 40% from this time a year ago.

The Real Effect
I believe this news is extremely important for several reasons.

1. I believe that the globalists are attempting to strip the American Economy by devaluing the dollar, weakening the American military through multiple prolonged conflicts and the removal of what was outstanding American influence over many countries in order to prepare us for a Global Union.
2. In order to achieve a Global Union, the current global problem solver, the United States, must be effectively removed from the picture. I believe that this will be accomplished by plunging the American economy dramatically, suddenly and then selling off her assets gradually over the next year ending roughly in June of next year.

Thompson Gets Chipped

In what could be considered a PR move to his transition to the board of Applied Digital Solutions, Inc., Wisconsin's previous governor Tommy G. Thompson has been "chipped" with a Verichip.

"We are all well aware of the need to enhance Information Technology in healthcare," Thompson said in a prepared statement. "It is my belief that Verichip is an important and secure means of accessing medical records and other information. I look forward to working with the company as it continues its growth."

I have no problems to any technology itself as devices are inherently neutral. However, my problem becomes how the technology is applied.

For instance, a firearm at the side of a police officer is capable of containing wrong-doing and protecting the rights of all. Yet that same firearm in the hands of a criminal can be used to take those same rights away.

I believe many will benefit from the advantages that a chip would offer those who are infirmed and unable to account for themselves. Yet one cannot ignore the larger implications that this kind of technology brings to the table.

This particular piece of equipment has generated a lot of speculation regarding it's possible correlation to the 'mark of the beast', much of it deservedly so.

The Real Effect
Look for a continued development in the surrounding propaganda regarding Verichip and RFID and a continued marketing push for more to 'take the chip' to become trendy, safe, or perhaps even patriotic. This will admittedly result in the expansion of tracking and tracing that we experience already in our day to day lives to an almost obscene level.

Crude Update

U.S. Crude has peaked in trading at $63.99 so far today. That makes for a 15% increase in crude over the last 2 months.

The Real Effect
Look for gas prices to continue to etch up in increments as the cost of crude explodes. Notice the $2.50+ per gallon costs? (I predicted it.)Also look for continued emphasis on the previous record in the 1980's being unmatched with inflation factored in. The message being that this is nothing compared to what it could potentially become.

Terror Target Watch August 2005

Occasionally I will post the targets that I believe are the highest probable targets. Here is the start of that list. I will be as specific as I feel is needed without being too specific. The problem with predicting is that, despite the best research, it is still a guess. Albeit an educated one.

United States - Chicago, Sears Tower area (Sometime in the next 6 months)
It has been targeted before, the purchase of the property by Larry Silverstein, the owner of the World Trade Towers, and proposed new towers in the city, look for a possible suitcase nuke to level a small area roughly the size of a new tower.

Italy - Rome, Probably a highly visible religious target like the Vatican. (Perhaps early next year)

Wanna CAFTA, don't you wanna?

Welcome to the beginnings of the American Union.

There are few things that inspire such fear and dread as the German war machine of world War II save maybe the Soviet Union. An experiment of monumental proportions and fueled by communism, the Union marched across much of Asia seizing countries left and right until its timely demise in the early 90's.

Undeterred by this, the globalists have foisted new Unions on most of the world. Here are a few currently in existence in one form or another.

European Union , African Union, Pacific Union

As if the United States does not have enough problems at the moment, President Bush signed into law CAFTA, the so-called 'free trade' agreement that subjugates the American people to unelected trade boards that are the precursors to the up and coming American Union.

Preceded by GATT, NAFTA and the organization of American States, CAFTA is merely a stepping stone to accomplish what was decided in the first Summit of the Americas in Miami, which resolved to establish a Free Trade Area of the Americas by 2005. Bush has stated that he would like the FTAA passage by December of this year.

The Real EffectAll of this is merely a pretext for the ultimate goal of a all-encompassing Global union. Liberals and Conservatives alike should hang their collective heads in shame at what will be one of the final nails in the coffin of the once great United States of America. Look for an increasing economic slide of the economy in the 2nd half of 2005 that causes the dollar to slide even further against the Euro setting the stage for a Union currency proposed to be called the Amero.

Crude Update

Crude oil continues it's unfettered march upward. It is currently at $62.50.

Update: My first post on this blog had stated that oil would double, perhaps triple in value over the next year. After roughly one month, the price has increased per barrel by $6.96 or 8%. At that rate of increase per month, we have a 96% increase in cost in the next year. It looks like everything is on track.

London 'Free' Speech Zones

Part of understanding any given situation correctly is to understand what the effect of a given action has on others. If one views the recent rash of bombings as isolated incidents or the result of a crackdown on terrorism, some actions might be welcome, if not deemed prudent altogether.

However, when viewed as a string of larger events and scouring the motives of those who would foist 'security' upon us is taken into account, history reveals scores of would be 'protectors' that gladly sell their solutions to a willing public.
For a price.

Take the example of the new decree in London hot on the heels of our own example in the US. Basically the thinking is 'In order to protect you, we must control you by zoning your speech.' Very much akin to civil code enforcement, laws are made up that we must obey that rescind our liberties. Stalin would be proud.

Now, notice who the primary recipients of the discipline are? Are radical mosques being censored? Perhaps, to a degree, but more importantly, we must be consistent with the removal of liberty. Everyone must lose their liberty so that none might be offended. After all, we wouldn't want the perpetrators to feel alone in their suffering.

The Real Effect
Continued evaporation of public perception of their inalienable rights. Note that the rights are still present, we just refuse to assert them. After all, you have nothing to hide...do you?

Iran and Bolton

I had stated earlier that my prediction is that Iran would be on the chopping block as of mid to late 2005, perhaps August to October?

With Richard Perle calling for an invasion of Iran back in May by stating that "if Iran is on the verge of a nuclear weapon, I think we will have no choice but to take decisive action." and the report from the former UNSCOM weapons inspector Scott Ritter stating the attack had been approved for June.

The Real Effect
All of this leads to the appointment of John Bolton as ambassador to the United Nations, thereby clearing the way for a strong public case for the invasion of Iran as a 'response' to the 'global' terror threat demonstrated in London recently.

Asian Internet Outage

Interesting note. Many routers in Asia are basically shut down as of this time. Areas affected include: India (Bangalore), Iran, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Samoa and parts of Taiwan. Could this signal a possible attack, terrorist or otherwise in one of these areas?

NY Terror Panic

The city of New York was rocked once again as five terrorists, sorry make that tourists, were forced to march off a double-decker bus with their hands up.

Their crime?

A "tour bus worker reported they seemed suspicious."

and

"A Gray Line dispatcher called 911 and told cops the men had backpacks and their pockets "stuffed".

The report continues -

"The men were forced to kneel on the sidewalk, with their hands bound behind their backs". (As illustrated on the right.) Eventually the police determined that they were in fact tourists, not terrorists and released the men under their own recognizance.
When interviewed about the situation, another tourist stated "What can you do?" shrugged Dan Lindgren, 46, of Arlington, Va. "It's the times we live in."

The Real EffectMy opinion? This is just plain old hyper-reactive behavior. Instead of thinking for once, we knee-jerk react and do whatever makes us 'feel better' while failing to address many of the situations that make suicide bombings possible. We search veterans effects in a vain attempt to stop these situations from occurring and yet they continue. We mount even more cameras on street corners to catch the terrorists after the fact and yet they continue to exploit the holes.

So what is the solution? Search people at airports? Then the terrorists use buses. Search people on buses? Then they use automobile. Set up checkpoints to invade everyone's lives so we can stop the insanity? Will that stop it? No.

How about setting up troops on the border with Canada and Mexico? How about searching all who enter over the borders? How about making sure those who are thugs and criminals are arrested AND jailed for their crimes instead of released for lack of space?
But will this happen? No. Why?

That is where The Real Effect comes in.

Searching people at the borders and prosecuting criminals will reduce crime and terrorism. It will actually work. This reduces the need for expensive and invasive systems such as the TSA, Highway Watch and citizen watch programs. This makes less money for the bureaucrats and politicians and erodes their power base. Where would the pay raise in that be? No this is typical problem-reaction-solution fear mongering in an attempt to strip the Republic and it's good people of their rights.

This coincides with the news that New York mayor Michael Bloomberg stating that police will begin conducting random searches of packages and backpacks of people entering the city and perhaps even those traveling by bus or train.

We have to ask ourselves, 'Do we really want to continue suspending our only guarantee against the invasion of our rights by any dictatorial power now or in the future?'

London Redux

Well, well, well.

Earlier I said that "this thing stinks to high heaven". It appears that I was right.
The Illuminati have officially left their calling card on this horrific bombing. Take a close look at the date of the bombing, 7/7/7(2+0+0+5). This is no coincidence as most of the recent bombing have happened on such a date or between a certain time span.

For instance, the WTC bombings happened on 911, the Madrid bombings on 311 exactly 911 days after 911. The Sears tower was targeted 911 hours after the Madrid bombing. On 5/5/5(2005) the London embassy was bombed. 444 days after the Sears tower was targeted, London is bombed. And what is 333 days after that? 666. Will the Sears tower be targeted on this day? It is possible but we'll see.

Strange coincidences -

1. 9/11 mayor 'yards from London blast' - So Guiliani, America's 911 mayor, is mere yards from England's version of 911? Interesting.
2. London is running simulations at the EXACT same time at the EXACT same locations using the EXACT same scenario.
3. New York AND London are running the EXACT same scenarios on the dates in which the terrorists carried out the attacks WHILE the mayor of New York is visiting.
4. Netanyahu, (Israel Orders Officials Not To Speak To Media About Bombings)
5. Terrorist gang 'used military explosives' - Heavy stuff
6. Limited/No evidence - Yet the government has conclusions five days after the attack. The culprit, of course it's al-Quaeda.

1. Increased police security in the UK and US: New support for mandatory British ID cards, police on trains
2. CAFTA - set to pass which will not be vetoed by just-say-yes Bush
3. Iran - Perhaps some sort of link between the "suicide bombers" and the alleged bombers will emerge. This will be vague, yet will be specific. I believe the logic will be something along the lines of 'The terrorist s want us to leave therefore we should press on further.; Bush has 27% approval rating, There quite possibly will be a larger attack in either Europe or the US.

London Massacre, Global Solidarity

First off, my apologies for my absence. I have been fighting off something in my intestinal system for the last 8 weeks which has left me less than capable of thinking, let alone posting. More later.

So the 'terrorists' have struck again and the best name they can come up with is "The Secret Orginization of al-Quaida in Europe"? This thing stinks to high heaven for many reasons.

So far we know this for sure:

1. The blasts come roughly 24 hours after the Olympic community awarded the 2012 games to London. Interesting.
2. Israeli finance minister Benjamin Netanyahu has received word from London police minutes before the explosions "that they had received warnings of possible terror attacks in the city, a senior Israeli official said."

Cui bono? or who benefits?

Certainly not "The Secret Orginization of al-Quaida in Europe" as a veritable can of whup-arab will be opened in stunning fashion. Perhaps those who want a global government? Perhaps. One thing we need to make sure that we are cautious in drawing conclusions immediately after an event has happened.

The Real Effect
Global solidarity. After all, they are not attacking individuals, they are attacking the "Global Community". Amazing.
